Social Casino Glossary
Plain-English definitions for the terminology used at Bink and across the U.S. social-casino category. Alphabetical.
AMOE (Alternate Method of Entry)
The free, no-purchase-necessary entry method mandatory under U.S. sweepstakes law. At Bink, it's a mail-in postcard process detailed in the sweepstakes rules. AMOE entries earn the same redeemable Bink Cash as purchased entries.
Bink Cash (BC)
The sweepstakes promotional currency at Bink.bet. Awarded free with every Gold Coin purchase, with daily logins, contests, AMOE entries, and weekly/monthly VIP drops. Redeemable for USD at $50 minimum.
Commit/Reveal
The cryptographic flow that makes Bink Originals provably fair. The server publishes a hash of its seed before any bet is placed (commit), and later reveals the seed so players can verify (reveal). Once committed, the seed can't be changed without detection.
Gold Coins (GC)
The entertainment-only virtual currency at Bink.bet. Has no monetary value and cannot be cashed out. Used to play games purely for fun. Sold in packs (e.g. 5,000 GC for $4.99) or earned free.
HMAC-SHA256
The hashing function Bink uses to derive every Bink Original's round outcome. Pronounced "H-MAC SHA-two-five-six." Takes a server seed and a (client seed + nonce) and produces a 256-bit fingerprint that maps deterministically to game outcomes.
House Edge
The casino's long-run mathematical advantage on a game. Inverse of RTP. Bink's 98% RTP means a 2% house edge — among the lowest in the U.S. social-casino category.
KYC (Know Your Customer)
Identity verification required before your first redemption. Bink runs two levels: Level 1 (name, DOB, address) for first redemption, Level 2 (government ID + selfie) for redemptions over $2,000.
Nonce
A round-counter that combines with the server seed and client seed in HMAC-SHA256. Every round increments the nonce by 1, guaranteeing each round produces a different outcome even with the same seed pair.
Provably Fair
A class of game where the outcome is cryptographically derived from a publicly committed seed, so players can verify after the fact that the casino didn't tamper with the result. Pioneered by Stake.com in 2017; standard at Bink across all 15 Originals.
Rakeback
A percentage of net losses returned to the player as bonus funds. Bink ships rakeback at all VIP tiers, with the percentage increasing as you climb from Bronze to Ruby.
Redemption
The process of converting Bink Cash to USD. Minimum $50. Methods: ACH, debit card payout, bank wire, PayPal. Most clear in under 24 hours; auto-approved up to $2,500 for verified accounts.
RTP (Return-to-Player)
The long-run percentage of every wagered dollar that returns to players. Bink's 98% RTP means $0.98 of every $1.00 wagered comes back to players on average. Industry standard for social casinos is 95–97%.
Server Seed
The casino's 256-bit random secret that, combined with the player's client seed and the nonce, determines every game outcome. Hashed before any bet; revealed on rotation for verification.
Sweeps Cash / Sweepstakes Coins
The category-wide term for sweepstakes-redeemable promotional currency. Bink calls it Bink Cash (BC); Chumba calls it Sweeps Cash (SC); functionally identical legal structures.
Streak Multiplier
The multiplier Bink applies to your daily login bonus based on consecutive-day login streak. Day 1 pays 1×, day 7 pays roughly 5×. Missing a day resets the multiplier to 1×.
