What is Blackjack?
Beat the dealer's hand without going over. You're dealt two cards, the dealer shows one, and you act until you stand or bust.
How to play Blackjack
- Hit / Stand. Take another card, or stop where you are and let the dealer play.
- Double. Doubles your stake for exactly one more card. Available on any first two cards, including after a split.
- Split. Turns a pair into two hands with a second stake. One split per round — you can't split again after that.
- Side bets. Perfect Pairs and 21+3 are separate stakes on the cards you're dealt. They settle on the deal and have nothing to do with whether you beat the dealer.
Blackjack payouts & return to player
A win pays even money, blackjack pays 3:2, and a tie returns your stake. The dealer plays a 6 deck, 312 card shoe and hits soft 17. A round pays at most 20 times your original stake, side bets included.
Keep in mind: There's no surrender at this table, and no resplitting. If you're used to either, the hand you'd normally give up has to be played out here.
The published RTP headline for Blackjack is 99.33%. Approximate rule-matched basic-strategy benchmark, not an exact certification. Main initial wager only, excluding insurance and Side Games, before cent rounding. A five-million-round engine cross-check estimated 99.35% (approximate 95% interval 99.25%–99.45%). Additional split/double stakes use a different RTP denominator. RTP describes long-run expected return, not what a particular session will pay. Blackjack: what the estimate covers
Six decks, dealer hits soft 17, blackjack pays 3:2, double after split, one split, no surrender, and a fresh shoe each round. The approximately 99.33% figure is a rule-matched basic-strategy benchmark. The database’s 99.45% setting is accounting metadata; it does not set the card outcomes.
| Mode / method | Rounds | Estimated RTP | 95% interval |
|---|---|---|---|
| Main game simulation | 5,000,000 rounds | 99.352% | 99.251%–99.453% |
Engine cross-check reproduced on 20 October 2026 against the source in production revision 894f3c6. Flat $1 initial bets, basic strategy, no side bets or insurance; test-only seeded uniform draws replace HMAC. Return is 1 + net profit / initial main stake, including the profit or loss on splits and doubles. The same run measured 99.428% over all debited stakes; that is a different denominator. The approximate 95% interval does not establish an exact value or distinguish 99.33% from 99.45%.
Strategy changes, insurance and side bets alter return. Main-game blackjack payouts round down to cents, so odd-cent stakes can reduce return. None of these figures predicts a session.
Checking your Blackjack results
Keep the round identifier from your game history. Our round verification guide explains how to check a completed result against its seed information. The provably fair overview explains what that verification proves. It does not predict future outcomes or guarantee a win.
